my new apartment at Chateau Avalon, built 1929. Wood floors, built-in bookshelves, and French doors (with screens!) that open out onto a cute communal patio. The windows and French doors on the bottom level lead into the lobby which is just an open, tiled room that probably was a sunroom at some point. I’m so excited to have a wall of windows, after living in the cinderblock closet for the last year. Inside pics coming when I get back to Birmingham!
