The hack who did “Cloverfield” is doing a remake of “Let the Right One In”
So says Fangoria. By my estimates, it will be somewhere between terrible and god awful. Why ruin a perfectly good, creepy horror movie by Americanizing it? I imagine there will be the creepy cutaways and screams, and it’ll remove most of the strange elements and gender bending. Fuck all. This just puts me in a sour mood.I still haven’t seen the movie because I was waiting until they released a version with corrected subtitles. has that happened yet?
No. They’re still terrible. It’s like the translation is meant to appeal to the stupid horror movie fan crowd, but this is clearly not a stupid horror movie.
